David has worked in the construction industry since he was 18 years old. He began his concrete career working for a large highway construction company alongside his father, Dan. He made every attempt while there to absorb all he could about concrete, mix designs, batching, as well as the mechanical side of concrete plants and trucks. He never gave up on his dream and his passion of one day establishing his own ready mix company.
Lifetimes Spent in the Concrete Industry
David spent his entire career in the concrete paving industry and Julie established her career in construction and property management. Together, they began their journey in the concrete industry and established City Concrete Construction in 1993.
In 1998 concrete pumping services were added. And in 2004 a concrete plant and 5 mixer truck were added. This gave the Kudron’s a niche in the market as the only full-service concrete construction company.
As the construction industry was booming and the demand continued, Kudron Ready Mix entered the Oklahoma City market in 2006 and began selling concrete to the public.
Son Colt joined the team in 2008 after graduating from the University of Oklahoma. Colt brought innovative ideas and a fresh approach to marketing and expansion strategies. Kudron Ready MIx quickly grew in the following years and the growth continues with the same goal of providing an excellent product with the most personalized service in the market.
